The West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 2nd ANNUAL TASTE OF THE WEST on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the Plaza Guadalupe-Avenida Guadalupe located at 1327 Guadalupe from 5:30-8:30 pm.
The Taste of the West is a premier event that showcases food and culture from the Western sector of San Antonio. Last year 230 persons attended and enjoyed food from 13 San Antonio restaurants. This year we hope to double the attendance and anticipate 25 restaurants showcasing fine cuisine. Come out and join the city of San Antonio in featuring enjoying live entertainment, including music by the Renowned Westside Sound, fun-filled festivities, and fine cuisine and beverage sampling.
The Restaurant scene in EastTown is on the grow - Aldaco’s, Ruth’s Chris, Fatty’s Burger, J&I, Tank’s Chicken and Waffles, Spaghetti Warehouse, Tommy Moore’s Café & Deli Soon to open - Pat’s BBQ & Mikel’s.
