Retama Park
Live Thoroughbred racing returns to Retama Park Friday night September 7th at 6:45 PM. The 32-night meet runs three nights a week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 6:45 PM every night except Breeders’ Cup Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27, when first live post is an early 5:00 PM.
Retama Park hosts the track’s popular Fifty Cent Saturday promotion on 10 nights.
Chef Holly Smith is planning for another culinary season.

Crumpets Adds Sockeye Salmon to Menu
Crumpets Restaurant and Bakery has replaced its Chilean Salmon with a wild-caught sockeye Salmon. This Alaskan sockeye is served charbroiled with a lemon-butter and caper sauce. This entrée
is available for $29.00, or a la carte for $21.50.

PM O'Brien's Restaurant will be having the wonderful sounds of the
Cactus Country Band on the patio (weather permitting).

The Cactus Country Band plays mainstream Country and Western along with
other styles of music including Oldies and Classic Rock.  The band has
opened for such bands as The Charlie Daniels Band and been featured
with such bands as Gary Allan, Clint Black, Aaron Tippin, Bellamy
Brothers, Chris LeDoux and LeeRoy Parnell.  They have also performed at the
San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and the Texas State Fair in Dallas.  For
